third narrative assignment. we had to choose a life event that presented us with a strong emotion, so i chose 'surprised' as my subject matter. these two sequential illustrations depict the first time my ferret o'malley bit me, the little ninja came out of nowhere, latched onto my thumb and wouldnt let go. i didnt want to do anything depressing especially since i was already focusing on a painful memory for my life writing class (short memoir assignment). it just would have been too much to deal with so instead i chose something that hurt but at the same time was alittle funny. <3
AI intro project, objective was to create an illustration that interprets 'good & bad'. also tried to play around with other themes suggested in the brief such as: angel/devil, life/death, quiet/loud etc.
rough for my 2nd narrative assignment, final soon to come! <3
hello hello:) tis been awhile! this is an assignment for my narrative class, the piece had to include either of the following two phrases "are you alright?" or "whats that suppose to mean?" top image: minimal colour bottom image: black and white <3
first image: portrait of sarah (link) with ginger beard and many many jeliza-rose's. second image: illustration for my internship. will soon be part of a lino block printing experiment.
OverheardUnderstood project for interp. the task was to interpret a conversation we overheard. mine is based off of "i tried to read it, but i couldnt. she was just too hot, i couldnt focus".
in our second life drawing class we were encouraged to do drawings that we would consider bad, it was an interesting and fun experiment. this one is my fav. <3

this is a piece i did for the Ripple Project, drawn with pen and ink. Ripple is a great way to get involved and support the wildlife that have been endangered due to the oil spill in the gulf, i encourage you all to participate. <3
